US secretary of state Marco Rubio on Sunday claimed that the States monitor the India-Pakistan situation "every single day

On Sunday, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the United States keeps a close watch on the India-Pakistan situation "every single day." This comes in light of Donald Trump's repeated assertions that he played a role in brokering a ceasefire between the two countries. Speaking with NBC News, Rubio explained, “One of the challenges with ceasefires is keeping them in place, which is quite tough. Every single day, we are monitoring the developments between Pakistan and India.” This statement was made just a day before Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's visit to the White House, as the war-torn nation seeks a peace agreement with Russia. Earlier that day, Trump expressed optimism about the upcoming meeting, tweeting, "BIG PROGRESS ON RUSSIA. STAY TUNED!" He reiterated his claim of having halted six wars. "If I managed to get Russia to give up Moscow as part of the deal, the Fake News and their allies, the Radical Left Democrats, would say I made a terrible mistake and a very bad deal. That’s why they are the FAKE NEWS! They should also be talking about the six wars I just stopped!!!" Trump tweeted. India has firmly rejected any notion of third-party involvement in the India-Pakistan truce following military operations launched by both nations in response to the Pahalgam terror attack.
