The India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported that the forecast for the day included “thunderstorm with rain.” In addition, the IMD has issued a new warning for ongoing rainfall in Himachal Pradesh, predicting heavy rain in several regions of the state over the coming days. An Orange Alert has been raised for August 11 and 12 in three districts, while a Yellow Alert is in place for the rest. Furthermore, the IMD has also issued a heavy rainfall alert for three districts in Telangana for Saturday, August 9, 2025. Their latest bulletin indicates that heavy rain is very likely in isolated areas of Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, and Jogulamba Gadwal districts.
