Rahul Gandhi Accuses BJP and RSS of Vote Theft, Promises More Evidence Soon;

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday intensified his criticism of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its ideological parent, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Speaking at the ‘Voter Adhikar Rally’ in Sitamarhi, Bihar, Gandhi claimed that the BJP wins elections by stealing votes — and promised to present more proof in the near future. “You’ve all put your heart and soul into this movement. Even small children are whispering to me, saying ‘Narendra Modi steals votes,’” Gandhi said, addressing the crowd. “In Karnataka, we’ve already shown evidence that the BJP manipulated votes,” he added. The rally, which began 11 days ago, is part of the INDIA bloc’s campaign in poll-bound Bihar. Gandhi was joined by RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav as they took their message to the people. The Congress leader reiterated his serious allegations, claiming that both the BJP and the Election Commission were involved in vote manipulation. “Let me be clear — I had never said earlier that the BJP and the Election Commission are stealing votes. But now, we have proof — starting with Karnataka. Soon, I will also present evidence from the Lok Sabha and Haryana elections,” Gandhi said. He went on to assert that the people of Bihar will not allow their right to vote to be taken away. “We have exposed how the BJP and the EC have been stealing votes — they’ve done it in Maharashtra, Haryana, and Karnataka. And now, they’re trying to do the same in Bihar.” Earlier in the day, before addressing the rally, Rahul Gandhi visited the famous Janaki Temple in Sitamarhi and offered prayers. Bihar is expected to go to the polls later this year.
