Epstein Docs Link Musk, Thiel, Bannon to Meetings:
In a major development in the ongoing investigation into Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal network, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee have released thousands of documents showing that Epstein scheduled meetings with high-profile figures—including tech billionaires Elon Musk and Peter Thiel, as well as conservative media personality Steve Bannon. The documents, which include over 8,500 pages of phone logs, flight records, financial transactions, and daily schedules, were obtained through a congressional subpoena issued in August. The newly released schedules span the years 2010 to 2019, well after Epstein’s 2008 conviction for soliciting a minor. A statement from the Oversight Committee emphasized the gravity of the findings. “It should be clear to every American that Jeffrey Epstein was friends with some of the most powerful and wealthiest men in the world,” said spokesperson Sara Guerrero. “Every new document produced provides new information as we work to bring justice for the survivors and victims.” Among the more startling revelations: a December 6, 2014 calendar entry that mentions a possible trip by Elon Musk to Epstein’s private island, Little St. James. The entry reads: “Reminder: Elon Musk to island Dec. 6 (is this still happening?)”. The island is infamous for being the alleged site of numerous sexual assaults on minors. While the schedules show Epstein planned meetings with Musk, Thiel, and Bannon, the documents do not confirm whether those meetings actually took place. None of the individuals mentioned have been accused of any wrongdoing in the newly released files. Responding to a report about the release on his social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Elon Musk denied the claims, stating simply: “This is false.” Thiel, Bannon, and Prince Andrew—another figure referenced in the documents—have not yet commented publicly. Prince Andrew, already under scrutiny for his connections to Epstein, was listed as a passenger on Epstein’s private jet in 2000. The documents also show Epstein may have made payments to masseuses on behalf of someone named "Andrew", though the context remains unclear. Andrew previously settled a civil lawsuit brought by Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein’s most well-known accusers, in 2022. Guerrero urged further transparency, specifically calling out former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi: “Oversight Democrats will not stop until we identify everyone complicit in Epstein’s heinous crimes. It’s past time for Attorney General Bondi to release all the files now.” The release reignites public scrutiny over Epstein’s connections to the world’s elite. Epstein died by apparent suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges, although his death has been the subject of widespread conspiracy theories, partly due to his ties to powerful political figures—including former President Donald Trump. In now-deleted posts from earlier this year, Elon Musk accused Trump of blocking the release of Epstein-related documents. The Department of Justice under Trump’s administration had previously promised transparency but later declined to release its investigative files. The House Oversight Committee said the review of the newly released documents is ongoing. Victims’ names have been redacted to protect privacy and preserve the integrity of ongoing investigations.Epstein Docs Link Musk.
