Elvish Yadav's father has spoken out about the recent firing incident in Gurugram, stating, "This is definitely a threat..."

Elvish Yadav, who recently shot to fame on Laughter Chefs Season 2, is making headlines again after an alarming incident at his home in Gurugram’s Sector 57 early Sunday morning. “So far, we haven’t received any threats or phone calls. I spoke with Elvish, and he assured me he’s okay,” his father told reporters, as noted by the Times of India. Elvish’s dad added, “There was definitely a threat to our lives; if we had been outside, who knows what could have happened?” At the time of the shooting around 5:30 am, Yadav wasn’t home, but some family members were inside, thankfully unharmed. In the meantime, the ‘Bhau gang’ has taken responsibility for the attack. Upon receiving the news, a police team arrived at the scene to gather forensic evidence and is currently reviewing CCTV footage from the area. The attackers fired over two dozen rounds at the YouTuber’s residence in Sector 57 before fleeing. According to the police, the bullets hit both the ground and the first floor of the house. In a social media post, gang members Neeraj Faridpur and Bhau Ritoliya from the ‘Bhau gang’ claimed they were behind the shooting. “…the bullets fired at Elvish Yadav's house today were from us. He has destroyed many lives by promoting betting apps. Other influencers who promote betting should be prepared for similar consequences,” Ritoliya’s post stated. Elvish Yadav has often found himself embroiled in controversy. He faced legal issues alongside singer Fazilpuriya for featuring snakes in the music video for the song 32 Bore. Additionally, he is involved in an ongoing case where he’s accused of supplying snake venom at a rave party in Noida. However, the Supreme Court has put a hold on the trial court proceedings.
