Arjun Tendulkar is officially engaged to Saaniya Chandok, and social media is buzzing with excitement!

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar's son, Arjun Tendulkar, recently got engaged to Saaniya Chandok in a cozy, private ceremony, as confirmed by sources to NDTV on Wednesday. The news sent social media into a frenzy as fans celebrated this significant milestone in the young cricketer's life. However, neither Arjun nor Saaniya's families have released an official statement yet. According to a report from India Today, Saaniya is the granddaughter of prominent Mumbai entrepreneur Ravi Ghai, whose family is well-known for their contributions to the hospitality and food industries. They own the InterContinental hotel and Brooklyn Creamery. The report also mentioned that Arjun and Saaniya's engagement was an intimate affair, attended only by close friends and family from both sides. On the cricketing front, Arjun is a left-arm pacer who can also make valuable contributions with the bat. He plays for Goa in domestic cricket and has made quite an impression, taking 37 wickets and scoring 532 runs in 17 First-Class matches. In T20s, Arjun has played 24 games, claiming 27 wickets and scoring 119 runs. He has also participated in 18 one-day matches (List A), where he picked up 25 wickets and scored 102 runs. Additionally, Arjun has been part of the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. He made his IPL debut in 2023, featuring in four matches and taking three wickets. Unfortunately, in the following season, he only played one game and didn't manage to take any wickets. Interestingly, Arjun Tendulkar's first IPL wicket was none other than Bhuvneshwar Kumar, which he achieved while playing against SunRisers Hyderabad. He was retained by MI for the 2024 season, and during the subsequent mega auction, the franchise secured him for a sum of INR 30 lakh.
